Yoga is good for you?

let me correct that "it is VERY good for you"
so I decided to take a class and see how good is it and what good can it bring to my life ?

registered for a class at De Anza College once a week for two hours....on saturdays..

it is supposed to relax you.... to make you feel good....to give you the PIECE of MIND..

ok, let me stop here and explain the context of this....
my normal weekend is whether it is sat or sun, i wake up do some morning errands and then get ready to leave for work...

so decided to change things up a bit.... try take off on weekends...
and relax...

now !! back to yoga....
i went to the first class..... enjoyed the first class and was happy with it...
came home and relaxed all day...
relaxation carried over onto sunday !!

next weekend..... same thing....after class....came home and relaxed all weekend....

wait wait wait......what is happening?
yoga is making me more lazy? making me too relaxed to live? too lazy to function?
or is it just giving me

my PEACE of MIND !!!

no I did not MISSPELL it this time.. !!!! :D

Don't blame yoga in making you more like a normal human... Weekends are for relaxing. You're supposed to get tired during the week so that you'll be taking rest on weekends. Put that piece into your mind.

I often feel the same with stuff like yoga.. it makes me wanna take a nap instead of feel refreshed. Also a large part of it might also depend on who teaches it

THE WALRUS'S PHILOSOPHY:

Yoga can take an ample amount of time to effect one's body. But, the long term effects are much better than any other form of exercise out there...
